Today we cruised around looking for whales, but found nothing. In order to re-enter our beloved country we had to check in with U.S. customs. Our first attempt was at Roche Harbor, but we were 20 minutes too late. We then motored all the way around San Juan Island to Friday Harbor where the customs station was as well closed, but we were able to phone them and take care of business. After that we motored back up to good ole’ Neck Cove which is pretty much where our adventure began. We utilized our friend’s private dock and stayed the night.
