Neah Bay to Astoria...

Monday, August 12, 2002

The journey down the Pacific was safe and very rewarding. We left Neah Bay at 5:33, and we motored non-stop all the way to Astoria, arriving as the sun was rising at 6. A full twenty four hours, which provided us with the only sleepless night on the trip, but rewarded us with a beautiful spread of stars and over 100 meteors to light up the sky. I stopped counting at 30 meteors. Glenn unfortunately fell prey to motion sickness as we bed ridden for a majority of this leg of the trip home. He recovered, and all is well.
