Otter Bay to Montague Harbour...

Friday, July 19, 2002

We left dock at tourist trap #271 at Otter Bay and motored (a very short distance) to Montague Harbor on Galiano Island. Montague is not as big of tourist trap because it is a park. We tied up on a mooring buoy and are planning to stay two nights. We managed to get ourselves (all 3 of us) into the dinghy and row to shore. From there we walked around a bit an ended up on a shuttle bus to Hummingbird Pub. The nice lady that was serving us must have been having a bad night or was over loaded. Several tables around us never even got their food. Win some lose some I guess. The bus took us back, and the dinghy via my rowing got us back to the boat. We spent a quiet night reading and watching a little of that delightful Canadian television. (which seems pretty much dominated by American programming, or is it the other way around?)
