Gibbons Landing to Hallkett Bay...
Tuesday, July 23, 2002
Today we filled up the gas tanks, and motored down Thornbrough Channel. We cruised nicely, slowly, and relaxed. No real wind to speak of, but it didn't matter. The scenery was breath taking. Glorious is nature outside of the patchy spots where the loggers had their way. I did see a seal pup trying to get up on a floating log, which was touching. After we had anchored in Hallkett Bay on Gambier Island, I decided to go for swim. I was having trouble working the snorkel because I kept laughing.

Here I am dinking around in the drink. The water wasn't that cold. I probably could have done without the wetsuit. I scanned the hull for any major dents from the various objects we've run over.
