We left Friday Harbor at 12:10 and motored near Jones Island. We managed to get some sailing in. The Sergeant Lewis was up to 7.5 knots at one point in time, and we were tacking into the wind. We tried to drop an anchor on the east side of Waldron Island, but to no avail. We motored to Sucia Island, and tied up to a mooring buoy in Echo Bay. My only complaint is this is where we first ran into those little punk mosquitoes. The aft cabin can be completely netted off, so guess where I spent most of my time.
